Using an iPod

I'm going to use an iPod to put pictures on my blog. I don't like using the camera than putting the SD card on and posting it on on blogger. It takes too much effort so I'm using an iPod and posting pictures

endless..endless snow

For the past few week it has been snowing here like crazy. One thing we do here when it snows a lot is play tackle football in the snow. Amazingly you don't get hurt and it's fun. Sad thing though is that this snow is way to powdery. You cannot make snowballs. We have a ice rink here and when it snows to much you can't skate on it until you clean it up.

Equipments in Dostyk Village

There are lots of recreation centers in Dostyk Village. There is a ice skating rink, indoor tennis court, indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool, workout gym, gym. We also have a Dostyk American International School (DAIS) in Dostyk Village.

Life in Dostyk Village

When I first came to Dostyk Village I thought that everything would be awesome. It was well let's say for the first few weeks. After a few weeks I figured out that there wasn't much food that they sell here so I started worrying about the food. But luckily we had a sea shipment here and we were allowed to bring food so I was pretty happy! 

Starting a new blog

Born in the tropics and lived most of my life in the comfort and convenience of a modern metropolis; moving to Atyrau is a gigantic change for me and my family. In case, you are wondering where is Atyrau, it is on the western part of Kazakhstan on the northern shore of Caspian Sea.
